The Ngöbe Buglé reservation is largest native Comarca in the Isthmus of Panamá, inhabited by two tribes who together comprise Panama's most populous indigenous group (170,000 Ngöbe &18,000 Buglé). The cormarca is found to the west of Panama and covers about nine percent of Panama's territory, the provinces of Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro and Veraguas with the Caribbean as boundaries.
Culturally, the Ngöbe and Buglé share a similar life style but not the same language. The Comarca Ngöbe-Buglé offers visitors stunning landscape, waterfalls, and the opportunities to experience one of the first Native Meso-American Cultures to come in contact with the Spanish Conquistadors in the early 1500´s.
Although their culture has evolved over time, the Ngöbe and the Buglé maintain many traditions and beliefs of their people, passed from generation to generation. Isthmian Adventures offers opportunities to explore the Natural and Cultural Heritage of this region.
